I'm Sharlene Bly, and I'm interested in my research topic of marketing/advertising in China, particularly as it pertains to media (Online, TV, Radio, newspaper, mobile). In the US. the "traditional medias" of TV, Radio and Newspaper have taken massive cuts in advertising spending. Online is growing, but cannot make up the differences with smaller dollar volumes. how is china like us? How are they different? In many cases, it appears that there's a generation in China that is skipping right over the traditional media, and into online and mobile. How are advertisers dealing with this? The online craze in the US is under 35; in China it's older than that,a nd a much bigger population.
Are search engines making money on advertising differently in China, and what does China see as the next "marketing/advertising trend"?
Any help is appreciated. I work in online advertising, and am interested in any comparisons that can be made.
Thank you in advance!
Sharlene

My area of interest is government science and technology policy. I am interested in how science and technology policy has changed in China in the past thirty years. Specifically, I would like to find out what policies have been most effective for building indigenous capability, encouraging innovation, and stimulating economic growth. The effect of these policies on the cell phone industry in particular are of interest to me.
Thank you very much for your help,

I am interested in how Information Technology is being used in regards to patient records. Specifically how the electronic medical record is being adopted in the care of Chinese patients. I would be interested in knowing what software you are using, what devices you are using to access patient data, how using technology to gain access to the patients records has improved healthcare in China, how widespread is the use of electronic medical records, is there a particular part of China that has a head start on the use of this technology and other questions along this line. I hope this helps clarify.
Thank you very much.

I am researching Christianity in China - What it's similiarities and differences are compared to Christianity in America. Although, this is topic, I would also like to understand Chinese traditional religions, buddhism and taoism. Then I wisht to relate all of these and the impact they have had on Chinese Business Ethics. How do the Chinese decide what is right and what is wrong to practice in business relationships? How do they come to these conclusions?
I do not want to offend anyone, and maybe this is not a question that I should ask, but can I go to church somewhere while I am in China? Beiiging? Shanghai? or Jinan?
I would like to interview with Christian Chinese if possible.
I would like to interview with a Buddhist if possible and/or a Taoist.

Thank you for helping us with our interviews. The product I am interested in introducing into Chinese markets is not a pharmaceutical, but often sold via pharmacies here in the US.
It is a product to help people who have trouble swallowing drink beverages and to not aspirate fluid into the lungs.
I often work with Speech Therapists, Nurses and Nutrition staff. People buy the product from pharmacies and food supply houses.

This is Franklin Walston.
My issue is Chinese Imports.
The point that I have with this issue is to discuss what it is that China imports, and what opportunities that presents to the rest of the world (especially the U.S.)
This report will primarily look at raw materials (i.e. scrape metal, coal, oil, etc.)
Sincerly,
Franklin Walston

I am interested in China's goal to become a global auto export. This would involve the consolidation of the industry and joint ventures with foreign auto markers. I would like to understand to what degree that technology transfer will play apart in China's success.
